This special little piece  was inspired by an antique Japanese lacquer jewelry box. It has hand painted faux red and black tortoise shell on desktop and chair splat. 

This desk features a wraparound landscape scene with water element all painted in gold and black gloss enamel,  It stands on eight ball feet which adds extra drama and weight this design.

Faux marble cabinet in a Pomegranate design which features faux painted marbled on top,and accent corner panels. 

The wraparound potted pomegranates sit on a faux black and white checker board painted tiles.

The interior is complete with a Venetian red rag roll finish. The cabinet doors have lion head pulls with brass rings that  accentuate the gold enamel lining on the legs and base of the piece.
